- Mollie McCagney, a past pupil of Kohimarama School, will be joining us as a Teacher in 2025. Mollie is a graduate of Auckland University and is excited to return to her primary school, starting her teaching career here at Kohimarama. We look forward to welcoming Mollie back into our school community.
- Angelica Koltonowska will be joining us as Team Leader for the Cowley Team. With a wealth of teaching experience both here in New Zealand and internationally, Angelica will bring new perspectives and expertise to our team and we are excited to have her on board.
- Don Forbes, who has been an outstanding Sports Coordinator and Teacher at Kohimarama for many years, will be transitioning back to full-time teaching in the Hillary Team for 2025. Don’s leadership in our school sports programme has been exceptional and we are grateful for his hard work in fostering a rewarding and successful sports culture here at Kohimarama. We look forward to seeing him continue to thrive in the classroom.
- Louise Alderman and Kate Lawrence will be returning in 2025 and teaching part-time in Snell Team.
We are also in the process of appointing two more teachers to join us in 2025 and we will update you as soon as these appointments are finalised.
As we reflect on the year and the changes that come with it, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our departing staff for their dedication, hard work and the positive impact they have had on our students and school community. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
