Students from Years 4-8 are able to learn a brass instrument (trumpet/cornet) or a woodwind instrument (saxophone, clarinet or flute) in a small group setting. Once they reach a proficient level, they are invited to join an ensemble. Sign-ups occur yearly and we ask the students to commit for the year. There is a cost of $14 per lesson, most students have one lesson and then when they join an ensemble they have two lessons a week - one for their instrument and one for the ensemble. Lessons occur during school time. One to one lessons are available out of school time. If you are interested in our Band Programme, please contact Vanessa Folley at admin@lilaschoolofbands.co.nz
