A Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Caregivers
As I said in the attached video, please keep Wednesday 14th June available for a school meeting to unpack the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum, Te Mataiaho. The Senior leadership team will walk through the foundations of this document and discuss the changes from the current New Zealand curriculum.
This term we are pleased to welcome two students from China who are with us as International students. The opportunity to experience the New Zealand education system, enjoy our learning environment, way of being and to form friendships with New Zealand students. Our students are able to benefit from their presence with us, learn about a different country, their way of learning and make friendships with them. These two students are with us for a term or more.
In Term 3 we have a group of short stay (four Weeks) with us to experience New Zealand and kohimarama School. The group's focus is to spend time in our learning environment and to enjoy our New Zealand culture. More details will follow.

The Kohimarama Way - Committed
Without commitment, we just drift along, with no idea where we are going. We change our minds. We give up easily if things get too hard. We break our word. We give up on people we care about if they disappoint us or make a mistake. When we are committed, people can count on us to keep our promises. With commitment, we can achieve great things.
Student Fundraiser - Autism Awareness Thursday 4th May
Reminder we are wearing our pyjamas and/or dressing gowns on Thursday and bringing $2 to bring awareness to Autism and to raise funds. Remember Autistic people are different, not less.
