School Newsletter - 6th December 2023
A Message from the Deputy Principals
On Monday we said a big ‘thank you’ to all of the Student Leaders in Snell Team for the service they have given to the other students and the school throughout the year.
We played fun mini games, ate pizza and had a humongous water fight.
This year’s School Leaders have been amazing and we thought it would be great to share the Year 7 and 8 Leader’s thoughts about their school leadership experience. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we did.
Miss Hill and Mrs Mills

The Kohimarama Way - Compassion
"Unlike self-criticism, which asks if you're good enough, self-compassion asks, what's good for you?" "Compassion is, by definition, relational. Compassion literally means "to suffer with," which implies a basic mutuality in the experience of suffering. The emotion of Compassion springs from the recognition that the human experience is imperfect." Kristin Neff.
