A Message from Cowley Team
It has been an exciting start to Term 3 as we welcomed visiting International Students into our classrooms. This wonderful experience has exposed our students to new cultures, languages, and perspectives, fostering meaningful connections and friendships across borders. Our children have not only learned from their international buddies but have also created lasting memories. Here are a few of them:
I liked playing with my international buddy because they were fun. I liked hearing their language. - Logan, Rm 8
I liked being an international buddy because it feels really good because they make me feel calm. - Eli, Rm 8
When my buddy started he was kind to me and he listened to me. He told me how to say different words in Chinese! - Eunsoo, Rm 6
I enjoyed being with the international students because they are really fun and they like the same things as me, like soccer. I liked speaking to them in chinese. - Enlin, Rm 27
I liked learning from them and I learnt a word in Chinese - happy! I learned it because Enlin was talking in Chinese to them and they told me. - Ciara, Rm 26
Cowley Team was sad to farewell our international buddies on Friday, but enjoyed this opportunity to see our world as multicultural and find the beauty in diversity.
