The Kohimarama Way - Committed
We know we are being successful in being committed when we think before we make a promise, keep every agreement we make, make decisions confidently, go the extra mile, give 100% to everything we do and are faithful to people we care about.
Parent Evening - Yr 4-6 Parents
As you will be aware we are a full Primary School which means we go all the way from year 1 to year 8. Every year we run a parent meeting to help inform our families of the intermediate years programme at Kohimarama. We hope that all our parents from year 4 to year 6 will attend to learn about the amazing opportunities afforded the students who remain at our school and the preparedness of these students for moving onto college life. We look forward to seeing you there on Wednesday the 31st of May at 7.30pm in the hall.
Pink Shirt Day - Friday 19th May
Pink Shirt Day is just around the corner! On Friday the 19th of May everyone is invited to wear something pink to school as we join with other school communities and organisations in taking a stand against bullying. In wearing something pink, we are showing that we all are making a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all, and it also reminds us to be accepting and compassionate. In all classes, teachers will be discussing the issues concerned and the importance of being an 'upstander' rather than being a 'bystander'. Let's stand up against bullying and make a colourful statement of unity on Pink Shirt Day!
Enviro: Friday 19-Sunday 21 May is the Eastern Bays Songbird Pestival.
Vist the Māra Kai at Pourewa, learn about the inanga spawning zone and go on a night time walk. Take a bike ride in the Pourewa Valley. Visit some of the special sites and learn about the predator and restoration work that’s happening. Learn from experts sharing their knowledge. We will also be incorporating the Ōrākei Local Board Schools Mothplant Competition Prizegiving into the Sunday afternoon activities 3-4.00pm.

Refresh which is happening across all schools in New Zealand. The presentation will
